Week 23 - Off to the races

I was invited to an Adult pinewood derby car race that happened last week. I didn’t have car parts, I didn’t have any idea how to even build a derby car.  Those who know me, know I hate committing to anything. So I didn’t decide to actually go to the event until the night before. I didn’t have any pine. I had no wood. But I did have fabric….. Siobhan to the rescue!!!

I decided to build an invisible car…. and who would have an invisible AND invincible car, but Wonder Woman.

To see the whole embarassing get up, check it out on my flickr page.

Week 22 - toof

This wasn’t meant to be a tooth. I made this little guy up at our friend Stan’s who is a potter. I also made a mug but I didn’t finish it. Boo hoo.

I requested a green glaze, but it looks like Stan dipped this guy in white. I thought of him as a cute loveable monster, you-know like shrek!  But it looks like he wanted to be a bright white toof.

week 21 - Ants in my pants

I wanted to try my hand (hehehehe) at finger puppetry.  So I made a little ant.  I wish you could stick your finger in it because it is super comfy.

The legs are kind of wonky and the face creeps me out, but other than that it works well.

week 20 - Cube, squared

Tomorrow is my birthday.

Tried my hand at the cube dude again.

Cube squared. They do make a handsome square pair.
